Dry Mouth Anticavity Fluoride Mouthwash
ACT® Dry Mouth Anticavity Fluoride Mouthwash
Moisturizing anti-caries protection and prevention in a great-tasting rinse.
Approximately 30% of adults over 65 are affected by xerostomia, or “dry mouth.”1 For patients who take certain medications or have certain medical conditions, xerostomia is an unfortunate side effect. Reduced flow of saliva in the mouth can be very uncomfortable for patients and put them at risk for developing dental decay, demineralization and sensitivity.2 With a clean, mint flavor, ACT® Dry Mouth Anticavity Fluoride Mouthwash can help moisturize oral mucosa, as well as help strengthen teeth, remineralize enamel, prevent caries and freshen breath.

ACT® Dry Mouth Rinse is formulated with three intensive polyol moisturizers and two hydrating polymers to coat oral tissues and lock in moisture. The non-irritating solution helps to create a pH-balanced environment in the mouth. Because reduced salivary flow can lower intraoral pH and increase the risk for dental decay and demineralization, consistent use of a neutral sodium fluoride rinse can help prevent demineralization, promote remineralization and ultimately serve as an effective defense against caries.2,5
